About InSight
A NASA lander that studied the deep interior of Mars. Landed in Elysium Planitia in November 2018. Its seismometer detected over 1,300 marsquakes. Measured the size of the Martian core. Its heat probe failed to dig deep enough. Ended in December 2022 when dust covered its solar panels.
