Each entry lists where the spacecraft operates (low Earth orbit, geostationary orbit, deep space and so on), its launch year, size and mission type, followed by a short account of what it did and why it matters. Browse by mission type from the home page or search by name, orbit or keyword. Status details such as whether a mission is still active can change, so check the operating agency for the latest information.
