About Galileo Spacecraft
The first spacecraft to orbit Jupiter, arriving in December 1995. Dropped a probe into the atmosphere of Jupiter. Found strong evidence of a subsurface ocean on Europa. Its main antenna failed to open, limiting data rates. Deliberately crashed into Jupiter in 2003 to protect Europa.
